5) What’s your favorite thing to draw?

Hmm…..poses/muscles….muscles in poses?

7) How often do you use references?

It depends on what I’m drawing and what kind of reference it is. Because l like dynamic poses that kind of ‘bend’ reality, it’s hard to find pose references. However, I do like to look up references for clothes and muscles to see where everything is. Sky references too (since I have a bad habit of putting that in everything….).

9) How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?

Oh man……………I wake up at 12 PM usually……and draw until 5 AM. Collectively though, probably a good 5-10 hours?

14) Do you ever collaborate with others?

I don’t! Not because I don’t want to but because there’s no time to. I think it’d be really neat to though! When I’m not drowning in projects maybe haha.

18) What are you currently trying to improve on?

Hm………..painting and still trying to hone my pose/anatomy skills. I’d like to get them to the ‘believable’ point.

6) What’s your least favorite thing to draw?

Oh boy………….weapons. I just….I’m so bad at it….and they’re super unpleasant to draw for me. Especially if I have to design them. Then again, it’s probably the lack of practice talking. I used to say that about hands and dynamic poses but now they’re my favorite. So…who knows?!

1 & 30?

1) Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?

Digital! 100%. Photoshop is OP.

30) What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?

The ability to be able to paint exactly what’s in my head. Many times artists draw things that look good; and, yes, it’s good. But it’s not exactly what they envisioned?….if that makes sense? Sometimes because of skill, maybe they thought of something better or maybe no time? I don’t want to cut corners. That and I want to be able to paint what I see in my head but also move people with it. I don’t just want to create things people look at for a second and forget the next…but pieces that they can’t forget!
